- I'm widowed, live alone with my dog Boots who is the love of my life.My Boots was hit and killed by UPS truck in March 2009 Was really a sad day in my life. I belong to the St Louis scooter club I was born in NC But have lived in Illinois for 60 yrs whiles spending 20 yrs in the USAF, retired in 1968 and then a second job with Xerox Corp I stopped working in 1981 and now lead a life of leisure.Effective 08/30/08 completed a 3200 mi trip to the outer banks of NC on Majesty400 not to bad for 1 going to turn 80 in Dec
